children work in small groups to receive the personalized attention they need to excel, but will also learn from time spent with their peers. It gives our staff an opportunity to observe and meet the individual needs of each child allowing for that super important differentiation within the instruction.

Our approach helps teachers integrate concepts and skills that will establish a strong foundation for years to come. Our kindergarten-readiness program will undoubtedly prepare ALL children for the next steps in their learning adventure.

INFANTS

Our tiniest sprouts are provided with a milestone-based curriculum, immersed in developmentally-appropriate learning experiences and paired with individual and unconditional care. Children 6 weeks-12 months are provided with stimulating activities where they can manipulate objects and interact with materials, guided by teachers who understand what they need most. In the first year, babies learn to focus their vision, reach out, explore, and learn about the things that are around them. They work for the ability to coordinate and control large and small muscle movements; exploring balance and coordination. Each avenue of our infant program is geared to building a strong foundation for your little one.

ONes

Our Older Infant classroom supports the transition from the sensory motor world of infancy to the increasingly social and self-directed world of Woddlers. As children become more mobile and their urgency to get up and go becomes evident, a classroom environment where predictable expectations and structure is needed. However- curiosity, exploration, and independence are commanded at this age; therefore, our teachers will also provide your child with multiple sensory-based learning experiences that invite self-exploration, the development of basic motor skills, as well as emerging communication skills.

woddlers

Woddlers demonstrate a readiness to repeat actions and imitate behavior . They begin testing boundaries and are enamored by cause and effect. We channel that energy in to positive learning experiences, giving them room to move and master the next set of emerging milestones. Our curriculum is designed to capitalize on their interest in repetition through songs, pretend play, and story-telling. Opportunities to develop gross motor skills such as climbing and throwing are presented and used to accommodate the unique disposition of the age group. Our teachers help your child build self-confidence so they can intrinsically challenge themselves and learn what motivates and excites them. Woddlers are constantly exposed to NEW things- learning and grasping NEW concepts that will shape them into the toddlers they are becoming. paired with opportunity to make discovery

TODDLERS

Toddlers are independent thinkers, experimental and determined, driven to test limits, toe boundaries, and challenge themselves. They are explorers and curious risk-takers who are trying to fit everything in to a world they rule. Toddlers are a combination of unpredictability and immense sweetness- with an uncontrollable need to know how and why with immediate resolution. For these reasons, our teachers have constructed a learning environment geared to the development of creative thinking and decision-making. In our toddler classroom, there will be opportunities to observe & predict, build and create- freedom for creativity will be offered in multiple ways., good manners will be modeled, and confidence will continue to grow. Additionally, we will work to develop communication and language skills that foster meaningful social relationships plaited with empathy and kindness. Planting the roots of valuable social and emotional competence is so important to us. Our goal is to transform those small skills into innate characteristics your child will exhibit beyond our doors.

PRESCHOOL

Three year olds are active and energetic. They are adventurous and bold. At times they are entertainers of their own making. It is a time of enormous educational strides in language and conceptual thinking, and in the development of self and social skills. This is the classroom where the skills introduced as a toddler are utilized and put to good use. The environment is created to encourage students to take on challenges, follow directions, work independently and respectfully, and develop self-confidence, concentration, and responsibility. Preschool is both a daily place to be grow and to prepare for expanding early academic concepts into a love of learning!

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

Our Pre-K program is designed to challenge and excite young learners as we engross them in a curriculum that taps in to their innovation, critical thinking,problem-solving skills, and creativity. Four and Five years olds are notorious answer-seekers-equally inquisitive and imaginative. We connect academic skills to practical real-world applications, so learning becomes meaningful and children have a solid skill-set to navigate the world around them. They will make connections between these diverse skills to age-appropriate concepts in our thematic units. Pre-K carries over the life-skills and knowledge introduced in the preschool classroom AND infuses a kindergarten- readiness program that will surely have them ready for what lies ahead. Both their math and literacy skills will soar. You will revel in their ability to recognize sight words and be amazed when they begin blending letter sounds. Our goal is to spark that fire and furnish them with an intrigue for knowing more, while providing them with the necessary skills to become active participants in their life-long journey of learning; mindful and kind little people as they leave our doors and enter kindergarten.
